Volunteer to create a world free of MS!
The success of our Bike MS Rides are directly related to the wonderful volunteers who help make the event go off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of talents and skills. There is only one requirement: to want to do something about MS NOW.

Bike MS Volunteer Opportunities
Check-in Volunteers- Check-in and register volunteers and riders by collecting participant envelopes, assign rider numbers, answer questions, and hand out t-shirts. Check-in volunteers may also assist with breakfast set up, distribution and clean-up.
Parking/Traffic - Help direct auto and cyclist traffic into the start area.
Luggage - Help load cyclists’ luggage onto the truck at the start and finish lines.
Rest stop Volunteers- Assist with set up and clean up of rest stop area, hand out snacks and refreshments and cheer on riders as they enter and leave rest stop area. Rest stops are located approximately every 10-15 miles along the route.
Finish Line- Cheer on the riders as they cross the finish line, hand out medals and assist with finish line clean up. Volunteers may also be asked to assist with luggage and the information table.
Massage Therapists- One of the services we offer the cyclists upon the conclusion of the ride is a free 10-minute massage. Whether riding 25 or 200 miles, our cyclists truly look forward to this time of relaxation. Bike MS is an excellent way to use your talents for a charitable cause, while meeting prospective clients in your local communities and mingling with other volunteer massage therapists.
Photographers- Photographers are needed throughout the rides to take team, volunteer and candid photos along the route.
SAG Drivers- Support and Gear Vehicle Drivers are needed along the route to drive 15-passenger vans. Drivers will need a valid driver’s license and be subject to a driving record check.
Medical Team- To ensure the safety of our cyclist and volunteers, we are in need of EMTs, nurses and other medical personnel to volunteer at various points along the route. Volunteers must be licensed or certified professionals for this position.
HAM Communications- HAM radio operators are needed to be stationed at rest stops along the route and the finish lines. This team will help to communicate any emergencies or incidences to ensure the safety of our cyclists.
Ride Marshals – Ride marshals are experienced cyclists who assist our event cyclists by enforcing the rules of road, providing directions and changing flats or addressing other small mechanical issues along the route. Volunteers must be a skilled cyclist and able to change a flat.
Entertainment- DJs, musicians, radio stations, cheerleaders, dance groups, National Anthem singers, comedians, caricaturists, face painters and children’s activities leaders are needed to make our event engaging and fun!
